1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site operating independently of government. It does not store official criminal records, file documents, retrieve records for a visitor, or perform an official background check.

Its material directs readers to Clay County record holders, including the sheriff, criminal courts, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Georgia Crime Information Center, and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry. Official disclosure is controlled by laws such as the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-70 through 50-18-77, and O.C.G.A. § 35-3-34. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information found here or through a linked tool to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct can be criminal. Georgia Sex Offender Registry information warrants special care under O.C.G.A. § 42-1-12. It is published for public safety awareness, not vigilantism, blacklisting, or discrimination, and misuse against a listed person is prohibited.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any check needed for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come through the proper official process or an FCRA-compliant screening provider, not this website.

The content is not legal advice. General descriptions of Clay County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, record restriction, or sealing rule applies to a particular matter. Seek advice from a licensed Georgia attorney.

• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes

Criminal records change as charges are filed, dismissed, restricted, sealed, or corrected. Gaps and delays cannot be eliminated. No content here is an official statement from a court, sheriff, the GBI, GCIC, or another government agency.

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Clay County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required before copying, distributing, modifying, or creating derivative material from that content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the website, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.
